YOU, my friend, have forgotten some things.
You’ve forgotten how to play.
You’ve forgotten to ask, “Who made this dumb rule anyway?!?”
You’ve forgotten that it gets to be up to YOU.
You’ve forgotten the magic words:
“Why The $%)@*! Not?”
I bet there’s a MILLION things you’d love to do, and you think you “can’t”. All those things you’re “not supposed to” do.
Well, who made those dumb rules anyway?!?
I mean…this guy is wearing his pants on his head and his shirt on his butt, and he looks like he’s having a REALLY GOOD TIME. Are YOU having a REALLY GOOD TIME following all those rules?
Let’s fix that. 🙂
Sunday August 9, in Seattle, we’re going to put our pants on our heads and see what happens.
This is a day of play, exploration, extreme silliness, rule-breaking, and FUN. (Also brain-rewiring, letting go of old crap, and inner-story transformation, but don’t tell anyone we’re doing grown-up stuff.)
We’re going to play with a combination of art, imagination, coaching tools, and archetypal insight (hellOOO, Trickster!) to open up YOUR specific doorway to a new way of seeing things.
Most of us have zero idea who made the rules we follow, and why we’re doing that, and mostly we have ZERO idea what we could be doing instead.
We’re going to take “instead” and BLOW IT UP, you-style, so that when you wake up on Monday and the rruuulllesss are closing in, you will have your totally custom Rule Ninja moves ready to go!
All this is going to happen in THE MOST MAGICAL SPACE – a place where creativity reigns supreme, where magic has soaked into the very walls, where you simply can’t NOT play. Follow the links at the bottom and if it doesn’t make you catch your breath to think of spending a day here, then this escapade isn’t for you. 🙂
There’s no fixed agenda (hello, no rules?!?) but the day is likely to include all of the following in some unpredictable, if-it-feels-fun-we’ll-do-it way:
Making stuff up
Play in the park
Making better rules
Super secret spy stuff
At the end of the day, you’re going to go home with some adjusted Perspectacles, a lighter heart, and a lot of creative ways to ask The Most Important Question. You’ll have a much better idea of how and why you tend to get stuck following rules, and whose rules those are anyway, and how to FIX THAT. 🙂
