Underneath that, my guess is that you’ve got a “knot” in yourself – a place where you keep getting bound up with two (or more) conflicting desires, needs, or drives, pulling against each other like a wishbone. (And you’re the wishbone!)
It’s also possible that the “knot” seems to be between you and the outside world – you keep ending up in the same relationship, the same job, the same blowup with a good friend, the same dead end with changing careers, the same family drama.
You’ve been trying to pick apart that knot, ease the tension, “resolve” that wishbone feeling, for a long time. You’re sure there’s a way to make this struggle go away, to “fix” what’s “wrong” so that cross-pulling will stop…and it’s still there. Which aggravates you, and might even scare you, because you’ve grappled with this for a long time. It sucks. And now you’re wondering if there’s something wrong with you because you haven’t “fixed” it yet…
Here’s the good news – there’s nothing you need to “fix”. All that stuff that drives you crazy? At its core, it all belongs there.
Yes. Really. And it is not only possible but totally doable to find peace without “fixing” any of it.
If this sounds like what you have been looking for, let’s talk about how that looks in my world.
